You cannot receive payouts until this step is finished. Once it's done, everything is automatic — you never have to log in to Stripe again.
On your dashboard you'll see a box with your unique link, like: empireexperience.org/?ref=YOURCODE. Click "Copy" and it's saved on your phone or computer, ready to paste anywhere.
Post it on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, in emails, in DMs, on your podcast description — anywhere your audience already reads or watches you. The more people who click, the more people who can subscribe, the more you earn.
When someone subscribes through your link, a 50% commission is created and marked "pending." After a 30-day safety window (to cover refunds), it moves to "available." Every Friday morning, Stripe automatically sends your available balance to your bank once it reaches $50. You get an email confirmation each time.

Do I need to be a Rich Off Travel AI member to be an affiliate?
No. Being an affiliate is completely free. You can promote it without ever subscribing yourself. (Most affiliates do subscribe eventually because they can speak to it firsthand — but it is never required.)
How big does my audience have to be?
There is no minimum. We approve creators with a few hundred engaged followers and creators with hundreds of thousands. What matters is that your audience is real people who might want to travel more or start creating travel content.
How do I actually get the money?
Directly into the bank account or debit card you connect to Stripe. Every Friday morning, Stripe automatically sends any 'available' balance over $50. You'll get an email each time.
What if my balance is under $50 on a Friday?
It rolls over to the next Friday. Nothing is ever lost. Once your total available balance clears $50, it goes out on the next Friday's run.
What happens if someone I referred cancels or refunds?
If they refund within the 30-day hold window, that specific commission is reversed. If they cancel later (after being paid for), your past commissions stay — you just stop earning future ones from that member. Fair for both sides.
Do I have to pay taxes on this?
Yes — affiliate earnings are income. Stripe automatically files a 1099-NEC for US affiliates who earn $600+ per year. Non-US affiliates fill out a simple form Stripe walks you through. Save your dashboard exports for your accountant.
Can I run paid ads with my referral link?
Yes, with two rules: (1) never bid on our brand terms like 'Empire Experience' or 'Rich Off Travel AI' on Google/Meta — that competes with our own ads; (2) never make earnings claims we haven't made. Details are in the affiliate terms.
Can I have multiple referral codes?
One code per person keeps the dashboard and payouts clean. If you need a second code for a very different audience, email support and we'll look at it.
What if I mess up my Stripe setup?
You can restart the Stripe onboarding any time from your dashboard. If Stripe pauses your account for any reason, your dashboard will say 'needs action' — click it, follow Stripe's instructions, and payouts resume automatically on the next Friday.
